CMAO Awards June 2nd - June 4th
The Country Music Association of Ontario’s awards weekend is taking place from June 2nd to June 4th, and Slaight Music is once again a proud sponsor of this annual event, now in its 11th year. Things kick off on the Friday with “Songs & Stories: Songwriters in the Round” featuring Slaight Music recording artists Roslyn Witter and Jim Witter, among others. There are events scheduled throughout the weekend, culminating in the Sunday Night Awards Show which will feature a performance by Slaight Music’s Ryan Langdon.

Slaight Music Announces "It's Your Shot 2023"
Now in its tenth year, Canada’s premiere songwriting and artist development competition is back for 2023, along with two new partners, Stingray and NXNE. The contest is open to all musical genres and will run until May 31, with the winner set to be announced June 30.

MusiCounts Receives $2M From The Slaight Foundation
The Slaight Family Foundation has made a $2 million, five-year commitment to the national music education charity MusiCounts, announced at the 2023 Juno Awards Gala dinner in Edmonton on March 11th . The investment will support diverse music education programs in schools across Canada through the new MusiCounts Slaight Family Foundation Innovation Fund.
