Canadian Country Music Association Slaight Music Humanitarian Award

The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) was founded in 1976. Each year, the CCMA honours its members who have excelled during the past year, with a Canadian Country Music Award. The Awards are handed out each fall during Country Music Week. The Slaight Music Humanitarian Award recognizes a person(s) and/or event(s) that have made an outstanding contribution of time and energy in the support of humanitarian causes through country music in Canada.
